Terrorism involving mosque burnings has no religious affiliation!

News of the terrorist attack on a mosque in the Swedish city of Eskilstuna went around the world, but everyone quickly returned to the festive mood, and it became a statistical fact in numerous attacks on mosques around the world, which are not even called terrorist attacks. And there is no question of anyone giving it a religious affiliation.

The fact that it was a terrorist act with an attempted murder of a large number of people is indicated by the fact that at the time the Molotov cocktail was thrown into the mosque, there were more than twenty people inside and that this precise moment was chosen.

Injured persons

Five people were injured, one of them seriously, while the building housing the mosque suffered significant material damage.

The media in Sweden write about this event as a "mosque arson", sticking to official information from police records, without any desire to delve into a deeper analysis, causes, and consequences of this event.

Interestingly, just a few hours after the attack, a Facebook group called "No, thank you to mosques in Sweden" was formed, which already had photos from the scene and sincerely rejoiced at the event.

Brief statements

Ministers in the Swedish government issued brief statements, saying that it was about restricting religious freedom, but none of them were willing to call things by their real name. Some media outlets are even trying to describe the attack as a clash between opposing groups within Islam, which falls on fertile ground of growing Islamophobia, which is intensely fueled here by the Sweden Democrats (SD) party. That party received a large number of votes in the recent elections and is blocking the adoption of the state budget, which includes funds for the resettlement of immigrants to Sweden.

There are about four hundred thousand Muslims living in Sweden, of which about sixty thousand are Bosniaks.

Attacks on their religious buildings are not uncommon. The Islamic Center in the city of Malmö has burned down three times. This same mosque in Eskilstuna has been attacked several times, but it is interesting that the perpetrators of any attack have never been discovered, which creates additional fear among Muslims and provides a basis for stories about a conspiracy by the authorities and those who commit these atrocities.
