SARAJEVO, (Patria) - After yesterday's bloody terrorist attack in which he killed 49 people, Brenton Tarrant appeared in court today.
He was brought before the judge in a white prison uniform, with handcuffs on his hands. The court informed him of the sole charge, which relates to murder.
According to New Zealand and international media, the indictment is expected to be expanded soon.
Tarrant remains in custody without the possibility of bail, and will appear in court again on April 5.
At least 49 people were killed in this terrorist act, while around 40 were injured.
