Telekom Slovenije to soon take over Bijeljina's "Telrad"

Telekom Slovenije announced that their member of the group "Blicnet" will fully take over Bijeljina's "Telrad", a story the Patria agency reported on at the end of February. The Slovenian operator did not provide more details until the deal is completed.

Blicnet provides fixed-line telephony and mobile services, as well as internet, cable, and digital television services in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and has offices in seven cities in BiH.

The company “Telrad“ is one of the telecommunications companies in BiH in the field of building access telecommunication networks, public fixed telephony, VoIP and IP telephony, cable television, and cable internet. The company was founded in 1990 as a private enterprise, later a limited liability company, and has operated in BiH and beyond ever since. 

Telekom Slovenije will thus enter the BiH market more actively, as planned in their strategic business plan for the period from 2012 to 2016. With this move, Telekom Slovenije aims to consolidate the market and the number of customers in the Southeast European market, Patria reports.
