Tehran: New explosions echo, Israeli army says it is striking 'heart' of the city

(Patria) - New explosions are echoing through the capital of Iran this morning.

Footage and photos of thick smoke above Tehran are appearing on social media.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced this morning that they have launched "strikes on the heart of Tehran".

In an operation they named "Lava River", the IDF states that they are attacking the regime in the "heart of Tehran".

"The Air Force, led by military intelligence, has just launched a wide wave of attacks on the targets of the Iranian terrorist regime in the heart of Tehran.

Over the past day, the Air Force has conducted extensive attacks to achieve air superiority and pave the way to Tehran," the IDF stated.
