The goal of creating a new legal solution for public procurement is to simplify procedures and reduce costs for bidders, in line with European directives, and to ensure faster, more efficient, and more transparent functioning of the public sector.
During the meeting, Chairman Tegeltija emphasized that he sees no reason why anyone would not support a law that is in the interest of the entire business community and the public sector in BiH, thanking the experts from the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska for their commitment to finding legal solutions aimed at improving the business and economic environment of BiH.
The working version of the new Law on Public Procurement of BiH, which was presented at the meeting today, will be sent to all competent bodies and institutions for further consideration and refinement, and then forwarded through regular institutional procedures.
