Tegeltija with Nelson: Adopt the Budget of BiH Institutions for 2020

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija spoke today in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of the United States of America (USA) to BiH, Eric Nelson.

Chairman Tegeltija and Ambassador Nelson discussed the current economic and political situation in BiH and the region, and the possibilities for improving cooperation between the two countries.

On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija informed Ambassador Nelson that the priorities in the work of the newly formed Council of Ministers are the continuation of the implementation of economic and social reforms aimed at improving the business and economic environment, as well as the standard of living of citizens, and the continuation of European integration with full respect for the Dayton Agreement and respect for the constitutional competencies of all levels of government in BiH.

During the meeting, the interlocutors expressed a common stance on the necessity of adopting the budget of BiH institutions for 2020 by the end of the first quarter of the current year. On this occasion, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers emphasized that the budget will provide sufficient funds for the smooth functioning of all institutions financed from the BiH budget.

The interlocutors jointly assessed that the cooperation between the two countries so far has been good, and expressed expectations that it will continue in the future.
