SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At today's session of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA, MP Jasmin Emić (NES) asked the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija why the Budget of BiH institutions and international obligations for 2021 has not yet been adopted and whether it is a blockade. We remind you that for months, the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, has not scheduled a session for the Budget to be adopted, and then in the BiH PA.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Tegeltija (SNSD), said in his response that he does not think anyone is blocking the adoption of the budget, but that there are different views on allocating funds for the recovery from the coronavirus pandemic and the salaries of employees in BiH institutions.
He said that he is not aware of the reason why the new budget proposal for BiH institutions for 2021 was not included on the agenda of the BiH Presidency session.
"I expect it to be on their agenda soon," Tegeltija added.
In the latest communiqué of the PIC Steering Board, BiH authorities were also called upon to adopt the Budget for 2021.
