Tegeltija did not submit the Draft Budget to the BiH Presidency

(Patria) - The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina was supposed to consider this year's Draft Budget and international obligations of BiH institutions at a session scheduled for today at 1 PM, but according to Patria's findings, the BiH Council of Ministers had not submitted the Draft Budget proposal by 10 AM, so it will likely not be considered today.

We remind you that state institutions have been functioning throughout last year, as well as this year, on decisions on temporary financing, which only allowed for the financing of basic budget payments and external debt, but not the realization of important projects.

After the statement of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, according to the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is the actual proposer of the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina institutions, the procedure continues in both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Zoran Tegeltija, Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers, is out of BiH, so that could be the reason for the delay in sending it.

The Draft Law on the Budget of Institutions and International Obligations was sent for procedure on May 27 by the state Minister of Finance and Treasury Vjekoslav Bevanda (Croatian Democratic Union - HDZ).

According to the Draft, the BiH budget for this year amounts to 1,073,600,000 KM, of which the allocation of indirect tax revenues for the BiH level is 865,500,000 KM, and the rest are own revenues.
