'Tango' operation uncovered speed and marijuana, I.K. from Vogošća arrested

(Patria) - Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, carried out an operation codenamed "Tango" with the aim of documenting criminal offenses related to the unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs.
During searches conducted in the area of Vogošća, several different packages containing a substance resembling the narcotic drug speed, with a total mass of over 1,200 grams, several packages containing a substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana, with a total mass of over 2,300 grams, two digital scales, over 90 rounds of ammunition, and other items of interest to the investigation were found and seized.

I.K. from Vogošća was deprived of liberty on grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs (Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of FBiH) and Illegal Possession of Weapons or Explosives (Article 371 of the Criminal Code of FBiH).

The arrested 28-year-old is undergoing criminal processing at the official premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, after which he will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
