Nedeljković should not have made a film that covers up the genocide in BiH. Serbia should bow to the victims of genocide in BiH and not rub salt in open wounds – said researcher and publicist of war crimes committed in BiH since 1991, Aziz Tafro, after the author of the film "Angel from Mount Zaglavak" Petar Nedeljković, who presents Russian mercenaries during the aggression against BiH as heroes in his documentary, passed away at a press conference in Belgrade on Sunday.

Serbian film and television director Nedeljković suddenly passed away on Sunday during the Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival (BFDKF), where his film "Angel from Mount Zaglavak" was screened, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The subject of Nedeljković's film is the death of Russian volunteer Konstantin Bogoslovsky, who was killed in Višegrad in 1993 while fighting on the side of the Army of Republika Srpska, and whom Nedeljković portrays as a great hero. The documentary was made after Tafro had previously published the book "Russian and Greek Mercenaries in the War in BiH.

During the Serbian aggression against BiH, crimes were committed against the Bosniak population in Višegrad. Under the onslaught of the Serbian army, thousands of Bosniaks from Višegrad were expelled, robbed, raped, and killed.

Some of them were killed in the most brutal way. The most horrific crimes occurred in the center of Višegrad, in Pionirska Street, when more than 70 Bosniak civilians were raped and then locked in a house, where they were burned alive.

Volunteers from Russia also participated in the genocide against the Bosniaks of Višegrad.
