Švrakić announced protest of the Green Berets due to Radončić's arrest, Golden Lilies will not take to the streets!

President of the association Bosnae Green Berets Emin Švrakić announced protests in Sarajevo, after the arrest of SBB leader Fahrudin Radončić, due to accusations that he obstructed the work of the judiciary, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The date of the protest will be determined after a meeting of members of this association, scheduled for Monday.

On the other hand, Šerif Patković from the Alliance of Associations of Recipients of the Highest War Decorations of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina told the Patria agency that protests by veteran populations in this context are pointless.

- Veteran populations primarily make their decisions regarding the war period and their contribution to the war. We do not draw from that a lesson that it would be necessary to organize protests (due to Radončić's arrest, editor's note). At this moment, that would be counterproductive both socially and contrary to our founding principles - said Patković.

Radončić was arrested on January 25, in the operation "Lutka 2", by order of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina ordered him a one-month detention. The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina also charges him in connection with the affair during the appointment of the ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Slovenia, Nermana Hadžijahić. Radončić called the entire process politically motivated, writes Patria.
