World-famous musician Haris Trnjanin for NAP: I plan a concert in my native Bosnia this summer

Haris Trnjanin was only 18 months old when he had to leave his native Trnopolje due to the bloody conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

His family and he moved to the Netherlands, to a refugee center in Roermond.

However, by today, the 18-month-old boy has grown into a world-famous rap musician, whose songs are listened to by millions of people around the world.

His studio recently recorded the song "What Are You Waiting For?" which was specially written for the Coca-Cola campaign, after which the doors of world fame opened wide for Trnjanin.

Through music, Trnjanin tries to encourage young people to get educated and develop democracy for all.

- The people from Coca-Cola liked my story, my idea of working with young people. The song "What Are You Waiting For?" was specially written for the Coca-Cola campaign. I presented the song in London, after which the Coca-Cola team asked us to make a music video for the song. After that, we flew to Portugal where we also filmed a commercial – Trnjanin explained in an interview with the BiH news agency Patria.

Although he has achieved world fame, he has not forgotten Bosnia and Herzegovina, and plans to hold a concert in his native Bosnia this summer.

- I visited BiH for New Year's. I was in Trnopolje and Sanski Most. Of course, I cannot return to Trnopolje permanently due to my work, but I cannot say anything about the future. Otherwise, I was very young when the conflicts in BiH started, but I learned a lot about those events afterwards. Finally, I visit Trnopolje every year and each time I learn some new information from that period – says Trnjanin, writes NAP.
