World media on the arrest of war criminals in Serbia: Neđo Kasapin falls

The arrest of seven suspects for the genocide in Kravica against Bosniaks in 1995 is described by AP as the "most important person" arrested today being Nedeljko Milidragović, a commander nicknamed "Neđo Kasapin", who after the war became a businessman in Serbia, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Incidentally, a large number of world media outlets have published the arrest in Serbia for crimes in the Srebrenica municipality as the main news.

BBC quotes the deputy prosecutor for war crimes, Bruno Vekarić, who said that this is a very important moment for Serbia in "confronting the past".

- It is important to emphasize that this is the first time the prosecutor's office is dealing with the mass killing of civilians and prisoners of war in Srebrenica. We have never dealt with crimes of this magnitude. It is very important that Serbia takes a clear stance regarding Srebrenica through a judicial process - said Vekarić.
