(Patria) - World Bank President David Malpass said on Thursday that the expected costs for Ukraine's reconstruction will rise "considerably" from the approximately $350 billion estimated earlier this year, as Russia targets Ukraine's power grid and other infrastructure.
He told the Reuters NEXT conference that he had not detected any "donor fatigue" in the international community, despite the enormous costs of the war, but there is "gigantic frustration" with Russia for continuing the war.
"This is a difficult war and very disappointing," Malpass said, adding that Russian officials had been pariahs when they attended international meetings.
