(Patria) - Swiss aircraft manufacturer Pilatus announced yesterday that it is temporarily suspending deliveries of its PC-12 and PC-24 business models to the US because new high US tariffs represent a "significant competitive disadvantage".
The company stated that the US represents its key market, where it sells about 40 percent of its annual production of PC-12 and PC-24.
In the short term, the tariffs will lead to a temporary suspension of deliveries and business with the US, Pilatus announced.
The company stated that it is doing everything it can to secure jobs for its 3,000 employees, Reuters reports.
