Swiss want to increase furniture imports from Bosnia and Herzegovina, can we expect a boom in this industry?!

Furniture from Bosnia and Herzegovina could soon be found in the showrooms of the Swiss TOPTIP, which ranks among the largest importers of furniture and household products into this wealthy country, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Representatives of this Swiss chain of furniture and household product showrooms visited five Bosnian furniture manufacturers: „Solidwood“ Gradačac, „Zedex“ Zenica, „Woodteam“ Ilijaš, „Bosnian Beech Board“ Visoko and „Praktik“ Vogošća. All these companies could soon start placing their products through the Toptip showroom chain across Switzerland.

The visit of representatives of the company TOPTIP to Bosnia and Herzegovina was realized with the assistance of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO), reports NAP.

Switzerland is the eighth partner in the export of all types of furniture from Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2013, with the value of exported Bosnian furniture exceeding 11 million BAM.
