(Patria) - The Sarajevo Film Festival began tonight with the world premiere of the film "Son" by Bosnian-Herzegovinian director Ines Tanović, which was screened at the National Theatre, and afterwards at the Raiffeisen Open Air Cinema.
The Sarajevo Film Festival will be held from August 16 to 23 under the auspices of UNESCO.
Oscar winner Eugenio Caballero, recipients of the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Pawel Pawlikowski, and the crew of the film "Son," led by director Ines Tanović, walked the red carpet tonight in front of the National Theatre in Sarajevo.
Guests on the red carpet also included Danis Tanović, Ivana Roščić, Goran Bogdan, Saša Lošić, Branko Đurić, Tanja Ribič, Nikola Kojo, Alma Prica, Jadranka Đokić, Gordana Boban, Vedrana Božinović, Admir Glamočak, Emir Hadžihafizbegović, Branimir Popović, Jasna Žalica, Pjer Žalica, Jelena Veljača, Amra Silajdžić Džeko, Sarah Čerkez.
