All bans in FBiH extended indefinitely, arrested persons must undergo triage

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The orders whose application period was extended indefinitely at today's extraordinary session of the Federal Civil Protection Staff (FSCZ) are those on the cancellation of all public gatherings in FBiH, the suspension of operations of cinemas, museums, theaters, concert halls, art galleries, public swimming pools and beaches, sports centers, spas, fitness centers, all catering facilities for the preparation and sale of food and drinks, all shopping malls, hairdressing and cosmetic salons.

The application period for orders extending indefinitely the ban on gatherings in public playgrounds, playrooms, parks and other public areas, and the provision of services in counter halls (public utility payment services, post offices, registry offices, court offices in contact with clients, institute branches) in a way that work with clients is organized in two shifts, has also been extended.

Orders for health institutions, public and private, to implement enhanced extraordinary disinfection measures – especially elevators, staircases, handrails, disability ramps, official vehicles, ambulances for patient transport, as well as the order for cantonal and municipal/city civil protection staffs to ensure triage points with health questionnaires before persons enter health institutions – will also apply indefinitely.

The application period for orders concerning the suspension of public and non-public passenger road transport, except for taxi services, the suspension of operations of open market and fair spaces and areas around retail outlets, except for open market and fair spaces with food items, the suspension of visits and departures for all residents of social protection institutions and correctional facilities, and the ban on movement for persons under 18 and over 65 years of age, has been extended indefinitely.

The order on the suspension of operations of open market and fair spaces and areas around retail outlets, except for open market and fair spaces with food items, will also apply indefinitely, with point 2 of this order being amended so that the following are excluded from point 1 of this order: food stores, hygiene product stores, fish markets, butcher shops, pharmacies, specialized stores for medical and veterinary products and equipment, agricultural pharmacies, gas stations, kiosks, bakeries, dry cleaners, specialized stores for orthopedic and other aids, specialized stores for baby equipment, pet food stores, construction, plumbing, and electrical material stores, logistics and distribution centers for food, drinks, and hygiene products, wholesale drugstores, bookstores, auto parts stores, car services, and car washes.

At today's extraordinary session, the FSCZ also issued an order directing police officers of the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs, cantonal ministries of internal affairs, and judicial police officers of FBiH to, before bringing persons deprived of liberty on suspicion of committing a criminal offense or deprived of liberty by order of a competent court to the premises of the police authority, judicial police, prosecutor's office, or court, primarily take them to the nearest health institution for a triage examination.
