Shootings increasingly frequent in BiH, one person wounded in Konjic

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the night from Saturday to Sunday, after midnight, in the parking lot of a catering facility in Konjic, two attackers physically assaulted a third person, after which firearms were used.

Two as yet unknown persons in the parking lot of the Bazeni catering facility beat a third person, knocking them to the ground, and the police in Konjic were reported that two gunshots were heard.

Upon the arrival of the patrol, it was established that two individuals attacked a third, after which he moved to his car, took a firearm, returned, and shot one of the attackers, wounding him in the thigh.

After that, the two attackers took the weapon from him and inflicted severe injuries with blows, due to which he was transferred to the University Clinical Hospital Mostar for further treatment. The person who sustained injuries from the firearm received medical care at the hospital in Konjic. The other person who participated in the attack has been deprived of liberty, it was announced for radiokonjic.ba from the Konjic Police Department.

One of the attackers is already known to the police. Two years ago, he also participated with a group of attackers in the beating of a twenty-year-old in Konjic.
