Nermin Nikšić, candidate for Prime Minister of FBiH, yesterday requested additional time for the appointment of the FBiH Government.
Therefore, the President of FBiH Lidija Bradara could not make a decision on the appointment of the FBiH Government because the president of SDP BiH Nermin Nikšić requested additional consultations. Yesterday, we witnessed a public debate between SDP and NES, when the president of SDP asked the People's European Alliance (NES) to reconsider the candidacy for Minister of Trade, a position to which that party proposed Anel Kljako.
“Nikšić requested additional consultations, primarily due to NES's proposal for Anel Kljako to be minister. According to accusations from the Central Election Commission (CIK), Kljako is someone who abused the election process to gain votes, and Nikšić asked them to reconsider this proposal, because his election would compromise the new Government,” said Igor Stojanović, vice-president of SDP, yesterday.
NES responded that it is hypocritical for them to object to Anel Kljako, but not to Sanja Vlaisavljević with her anti-Bosniak, anti-Sarajevo, and Islamophobic statements, which go so far as to praise the sending of Bosniak prisoners from 'Heliodrom' to forced labor. It is indicative that they object to Kljako, but propose Vojin Mijatović, a long-time close associate of Milorad Dodik, as Minister of Internal Affairs of FBiH - NES considers.
Furthermore, NES states that Kljako has never been prosecuted for misdemeanors or criminal offenses, no indictment has ever been filed against him, nor has he been convicted of any crime.
And while the public is mostly concerned with Kljako, Mijatović, and Vlaisavljević, and while SDP hypocritically fights only against Kljako's appointment, another candidate has remained in the shadows, known to law enforcement agencies.
This is SDP's Almin Hopovac, a candidate for Minister of Education in the FBiH Government, who last year came under the scrutiny of SIPA and the USK Prosecutor's Office due to abuse of position.
SIPA members at the time searched the ministry's premises and seized certain documentation. Otherwise, Hopovac is suspected of authorizing Damir Redžić, a civil servant who was supposed to be suspended, to sign documents on his behalf.
And as the days go by, it is becoming increasingly clear that the future FBiH Government, if established as intended, will not bring any significant change, judging by the proposed names, as well as the hypocrisy shown by the parties aspiring to form the government.
We remind you that yesterday, a part of SDP BiH, gathered around member of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović, expressed dissatisfaction with the personnel solutions. According to the information from Istraga, Damir Mašić, Irfan Čengić, and Saša Magazinović are currently with Bećirović. On the other hand are Nermin Nikšić, Vojin Mijatović, and Jasmin Imamović.
All these internal party struggles, as well as inter-coalition 'squabbles', are distancing BiH from the announced prosperity, in which even the voters of the 'trojka' believe less and less, while HDZ and SNSD are achieving their goals without any problems, after which less and less of Bosnia and Herzegovina remains.
In the future composition of the FBiH Government, six ministries will be allocated to HDZ BiH according to this distribution. Toni Kraljević could take over the Ministry of Finance. The candidate for the new Minister of Justice is Vedran Škrobić, while the position of Minister of Health should be taken over by the well-known Mostar doctor Milenko Bevanda. The candidate for Minister of Culture and Sports is Sanja Vlaisavljević, and for the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Željko Nedić. The position of Minister of Transport and Communications could go to Andrijana Katić.
According to the distribution of ministries, 10 ministers come from the Osmorka, as well as the new prime minister. It has long been known that this position should go to Nermin Nikšić. The Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees could go to SDP, and the candidate for this position is Nerin Dizdar. Vojin Mijatović could also take a ministerial seat in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Almin Hopovac is a potential Minister of Education, and Vedran Lakić is the Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts.
Naša stranka (Our Party) has previously announced that it will nominate Nasiha Pozder for the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. NiP could get the important Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, which will be headed by Adnan Delić, as planned. NES could lead two ministries – for the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, they proposed Zuhar Porčić, and for the Ministry of Trade, Anel Kljako was proposed.
The list of names was last submitted by the Party of BiH. For the Ministry of Affairs of Veterans and Disabled Persons, they nominated Hasan Handžić, and for the Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Industry, the candidate is Adis Bubalo, who previously held management positions in Elektroprivreda BiH.
