MEETING TOMORROW Kajganić invited victims' associations to the BiH Prosecutor's Office

(Patria) - Representatives of victims' associations from Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered yesterday in front of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH to demand from these institutions to, as they stated, stop "recycling war crimes cases". The gathering took place during the closing arguments of the Prosecutor's Office in the Ramiz Dreković case, and before the trial in the Dobrovoljačka case.

Clear messages were sent that the attempt to equate guilt for the conflict in BiH has been seen through, but it will not succeed!

Something earlier before the rally, the associations requested a meeting with Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić. Today they were informed that Kajganić is scheduling a meeting for tomorrow, February 10, it was confirmed for Patria.

As stated yesterday, "it is a shameful fact that even after 19 years, not a single indictment has been filed for the siege of Sarajevo, Goražde, Bihać, and cities where hundreds of innocent civilians were killed, but also the facts that these were UN protected zones.

They also emphasized that it is shameful that in 19 years of work by the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH, we have only one final verdict for the genocide in Srebrenica. The gathered also wanted to point out the non-implementation of the Strategy for the Prosecution of War Crimes, especially Annex B, which contains the A list of the ICTY.

Yesterday's rally was a warning, and it was announced that 'when they organize next time, it will be much larger' because they will invite members and many other citizens to see how to stop this that leads nowhere."
