19th anniversary of the murder of 65 Bosniaks and Croats in the village of Sasina to be marked tomorrow

The Association of Camp Detainees of the Sanski Most municipality is organizing the marking of the 19th anniversary of the horrific crime in the village of Sasina, Sanski Most Municipality, on Monday, September 22nd at 11 AM, writes the BH news agency Patria.

In the night between September 21st and 22nd, 1995, 65 Bosniaks and Croats were brutally murdered. They were brought from several camps by local Serbs, supported by Arkan's Tigers. They were executed in front of the headlights of the bus that brought them to the execution site.

Only two people survived the shooting by sheer luck, and they later testified about these events. The mass grave in the village of Sasina was exhumed shortly after Sanski Most was liberated, and the bodies of the innocent victims were buried in the Poljak-Šehovci martyrs' cemetery.

After visiting the memorial erected in remembrance of this crime, a visit to the Poljak-Šehovci cemetery will be organized, writes Patria.
