(Patria) - James Cleverly has been confirmed as the new Home Secretary, reports the BBC.
He will replace Suella Braverman, who was dismissed this morning. The Home Secretary described pro-Palestinian demonstrators as "hate marches" and added that she does not believe these marches are merely a sign of support for Palestine, which sparked sharp reactions.
Cleverly was the Foreign Secretary in Rishi Sunak's government.
He will be replaced as Foreign Secretary by David Cameron.
