Clash at the Book Fair: Milošević's wife Mira publicly accused of Ivan Stambolić's murder!

Biljana Srbljanović, a playwright from Serbia, offered a specific defense of fashion blogger Zorana Jovanović, who was being ridiculed on a television show about the recently concluded Book Fair in Belgrade. The public's attention was drawn to what Srbljanović said about Mirjana Marković, the wife of war criminal Slobodan Milošević, reports the Patria News Agency.   

"Why didn't the camera pan to the stand where the book by 'another fashion-conscious author, Mirjana Marković' was being sold?" Srbljanović asked the show's hosts.

"Why didn't these men ask those equal to them there - why are you giving hard-earned money to a dangerous and insidious project that justifies crime, relativizes the state's judicial system, and views murder with approval as the most normal means of political struggle?" Biljana Srbljanović asked, adding:

"Well, it's better that she (Jovanović) is known for makeup than for the pit of quicklime into which she threw the bodies of people she liquidated."

This was a reminder of the brutal murder of the Serbian politician and critic of Milošević's government, Ivan Stambolić, for which the Milošević couple is still suspected. Namely, after the savage murder on Fruška Gora, Stambolić's body was covered with quicklime and buried in a hidden location.

Ivan Stambolić fell out of favor with the Milošević family after visiting the besieged and destroyed Sarajevo in the midst of the war.

Coincidentally, the Milošević family will mark Stambolić's birthday on November 5th. The perpetrators of his murder have never been punished.
