Court Orders Ignored: Dismissals Continue at Elektroprivreda HZHB

The Assembly of Elektroprivreda HZHB dismissed the current management due to, as stated, the failure to adopt the annual report on the company's operations, reports the Patria News Agency.

The Assembly also elected a new Supervisory Board amidst numerous objections, particularly from minority shareholders and the Management regarding the illegality of convening today's Assembly, FTV reported. 

As a reminder, on July 3, the Municipal Court in Sarajevo issued a decision on a temporary security measure prohibiting the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and JP Elektroprivreda HZHB (EPHZHB) from implementing the Assembly's decision of June 29 to dismiss the president and members of the Supervisory Board of Elektroprivreda HZHB due to the expiry of their mandate, until the court proceedings are legally concluded. However, this measure was not implemented, writes the Patria News Agency.

Despite this, the Government of the FBiH announced a competition to fill the Supervisory Board in this company, based on criteria established at a telephone session where ministers decided that a certificate of completed training is no longer required.

In early July, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina also adopted the Proposal of the Decision on giving prior consent to the Supervisory Board for the dismissal of members of the company's Management. Nikola Krešić was dismissed from the position of director, and Marinko Gilja was appointed acting director.
