The submission of material evidence by the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo at the trial of Duško Dabetić, accused of a crime committed in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Grbavica, was held without the presence of the public.
Cantonal Prosecutor Aida Ćatović stated that there is a need to exclude the public because the submission of material evidence will mention the victim, who is under protective measures.
The defense of the accused Dabetić did not oppose this proposal.
Dabetić is accused of, together with finally convicted Predrag Mišković, beating and then raping a woman of Bosniak ethnicity in 1992. He is charged with repeatedly raping the same woman in 1992 and 1993, BIRN reported, Patria reports.
