Two vehicles collide near Nemila, one person killed, several injured transported to hospital

(Patria) - This evening around 7:20 PM on the M-17 highway, in the village of Topčić Polje near Nemila, a serious traffic accident occurred in which one person died, while two sustained serious injuries and were transported to the Zenica Cantonal Hospital.

According to initial information from the scene, there was a head-on collision between two passenger motor vehicles, a Golf IV and a Golf VII. Due to the force of the impact, one person died at the scene, as confirmed by the emergency medical team.

Two seriously injured individuals were transported to the Zenica Cantonal Hospital, where they were admitted to the emergency department and the medical team is currently working to stabilize their health condition.

Traffic on the section of the highway where the accident occurred was completely halted for an extended period. Police patrols, firefighters, and the duty prosecutor are on the scene. An investigation is underway to determine all circumstances and the cause of the accident.
