Car and truck collision in Ugljevik, two people died

(Patria) - Two people died in a traffic accident that occurred this afternoon in Ugljevik, on a local road in the village of Zabrđe.

The accident, which happened around 2:45 PM, involved a Hyundai passenger car and a truck.

The Hyundai was driven by a driver with the initials R.G., and in the passenger seat was a person with the initials I.G. - both from the municipality of Ugljevik.

The Mercedes truck was driven by a driver with the initials Ž.P. from the municipality of Pelagićevo.

The person with the initials R.G. died at the scene, while the person I.G. died at a healthcare facility in Ugljevik.

Police officers from the Ugljevik Police Station conducted an on-site investigation, supervised by the duty prosecutor from the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Bijeljina, announced the Bijeljina Police Department.
