Court of BiH rejects appeals from both prosecution and defense in Radončić case: He remains under house arrest with restrictive measures

The Court of BiH rejected appeals from the BiH Prosecution to return Fahrudin Radončić, president of the Alliance for a Better Future and delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament, to custody due to violation of imposed restrictive measures, as well as appeals from Radončić's legal team regarding certain restrictive measures, confirmed one of his lawyers, Asim Crnalić, for the Patria news agency.

- Today I received the decision of the Court of BiH, which rejects the appeals of the Prosecution and the appeals of the defense as unfounded concerning the Court of BiH's decision to impose restrictive measures, prohibiting Radončić from leaving his place of residence. The defense did not appeal other restrictive measures - said Crnalić.

We remind you that Radončić was arrested on January 25 and released from custody on February 17 with restrictive measures. The BiH Prosecution accuses him of obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit a criminal offense, and offering rewards or other benefits for influence peddling. (av)
