SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has rejected the indictment against former Minister of Security and current representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Dragan Mektić.
Mektić stated today in Sarajevo that the rejection of the indictment is proof that the indictment was fabricated and monstrous. The indictment has been returned to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for revision.
"I will take all measures. I will also file criminal charges against the prosecutors and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council, because BiH does not need prosecutors who work under political orders. The project for which they charged me was a clean project and transparent spending of money from IPA funds," said Mektić.
He added that an audit was also conducted and that he received a positive audit report.
"But that means nothing to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. The problem of Bosnia and Herzegovina lies in the corrupt and criminalized Prosecutor's Office. I believed in the Court. I will continue my legal battle with the Prosecutor's Office of BiH," Mektić stated.
Incidentally, Mektić's former advisor had his car set on fire last night in Sokolac, which Mektić characterized as a message that there will be reckoning with those who speak about crime and anyone who opposes the political and criminal collusion.
