(Patria) - The Court of BiH has delivered a guilty verdict against Fadil Novalić, Fahrudin Solak, and Fikret Hodžić, while Jelka Milićević was acquitted in the Respirators case.
Such a verdict was already announced in the media, which sends a dangerous message that the judiciary is susceptible to pressure.
The HJPC (High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council) refused to comment on the allegations of an acquittal and pressure on judges when asked by Patria.
The court also imposed prison sentences: Fadil Novalić four years, Fahrudin Solak six years, and Fikret Hodžić five years.
The court also imposed a sanction on the company F. H. Srebrena malina, which is obliged to pay 200,000 KM into the budget of BiH institutions within 60 days of the verdict becoming final and to return illegally acquired property benefits of 694,000 KM.
