Tuzla Resident Suad S. Subject to Prohibition Measures

(Patria) - At the proposal of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Prosecutor's Office in Mostar, by order of the Municipal Court in Mostar dated 07.09.2023, the suspect Suad S. (1981), from Tuzla, has been issued prohibition measures preventing him from meeting with specific individuals, namely E. B., K. E., V. V., R. V., S. H., E. H., R. U. within a distance of one hundred meters, due to well-founded suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of "Association for the Purpose of Committing Criminal Offenses" in connection with the "Prolonged Criminal Offense of Giving False Testimony" of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in connection with the criminal offense of "False Reporting" of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and incitement to commit these criminal offenses.

The Prosecutor's Office, in its proposal, requested the court to impose pre-trial detention on the suspect, citing well-founded fears that he would destroy, conceal, alter, or falsify evidence or traces important for the criminal proceedings, and because special circumstances indicate that he would obstruct the criminal proceedings by influencing witnesses, accomplices, or concealers, R. H. from Tuzla, witness E. V. (formerly H.), witness V. V., and accomplice R. V., and also because special circumstances justify the fear that he will repeat the criminal offense or complete an attempted criminal offense, for which criminal offenses a prison sentence of at least three years or a heavier sentence can be imposed.

Although the court fully accepted the arguments and submitted evidence of the Prosecutor's Office, it nevertheless assessed that the purpose and objective of the unimpeded conduct of the proceedings in the case against the accused Sade Đ. from Tomislavgrad would also be achieved by imposing prohibition measures, as milder measures to ensure the accused's presence.

The Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Prosecutor's Office, in cooperation with the Federal Police Administration (FUP), continues to undertake investigative actions in this case in order to establish all facts and circumstances under which these criminal offenses were committed.
