Conditions created for the continuation of facility removal on the first section of the First Transversal

(Patria) - The operational team for the construction of the First Transversal, led by the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton, Marija Nenadić, continued discussions today regarding the initiated processes related to the construction of this road.

Today's coordination specifically addressed the issue of issuing a building permit for the section from the Mechanical School to Braće Begić Street, and in that regard, individual disputed property-legal issues.

All cases were analyzed individually, and it was concluded that within the next seven to 10 days, conditions will be created for the continuation of the removal and demolition of new facilities on this section of the First Transversal.

Representatives of the municipalities and the Institute for Construction, based on the conclusions from the previous session, informed those present in detail that conditions have been created for the removal of facilities at Tešanjska 21 and 23, which involves a total of about 15 residential units, on which this coordination has been working intensively in the previous period.

The demolition project has been completed, and its implementation can commence within the next 10 days, for which the company "Rad" has already secured the necessary prerequisites.

Prime Minister Nenadić expressed satisfaction that, after more than three months of persistent work on resolving these approximately 15 property-legal cases, this part of the work has finally reached the stage of facility removal.

Next week, a public call will also be issued for the selection of the supervisory body for the construction of this first section of the First Transversal.

Discussions were also held regarding the consents that utility companies need to issue this week, and according to available information, there are no obstacles to completing and issuing such decisions, although most of them have already been implemented.

During the meeting, the Minister of Transport Adi Kalem and the Director of the Sarajevo Canton Roads Directorate Selmir Kovač informed those present that significant progress has been made in accelerating the processes and procedures for announcing public calls for the construction of the "Kobilja Glava" tunnel.

The final information is that the construction of this tunnel should begin at the start of next year.

By the 25th of this month, a pre-qualification of all interested parties for the construction of this tunnel will be carried out, so that these works can be concretely initiated and realized by January of next year.

Discussions were also held on the completion of the road section at Šip, before entering the tunnel, and it was concluded that the works are proceeding according to the planned dynamics, and that the contractor, in agreement with the Directorate and the Ministry, will decide whether the asphalt paving will be done before or after the completion of the tunnel construction, so as not to damage the asphalt during the tunnel construction, given that heavy machinery will be involved in its construction.

Discussions were also held on the land parceling in the area of the municipalities Centar and Novo Sarajevo, which is a prerequisite for starting official negotiations with the company "Penny Plus" and the company "El Tarik Oil", and for the "relocation of businesses" from the Velešići location to another suitable location in Sarajevo Canton.

It was concluded that the necessary activities will continue at the municipal level this week with the aim of completing the parceling process. A report on the completion of this process is expected at the next meeting.

Prime Minister Nenadić announced that at the next meeting of this coordination body, discussions will also be held regarding the completion and issuance of urban planning consents on the part of the route through Vogošća, from the exit of the "Kobilja Glava" tunnel to the Jošanička interchange, as well as the continuation of activities on the realization of the First Transversal in the section from the roundabout near the "El Tarik Oil" gas station, past "Bosnalijek" and further towards Šip.
