Working on clarifying the circumstances of the fire that occurred on 04.03.2023 around 14:00 on several residential units - barracks in Vitomira Lukića street, Ilidža municipality, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of KS, an investigation was carried out yesterday by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, authorized court experts in fire protection and construction.
It was determined that the fire originated from the internal electrical installation behind the electricity meter. It was also established that M.Ć., aged 46, illegally supplied electricity to users for four residential units without the approval of the Elektodistribucija, by installing control meters from which he charged for electricity consumption.
Material damage of approximately 200,000.00 KM resulted from the fire.
Police officers of the Criminal Police Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton arrested M.Ć., born in 1977 in Sarajevo, where he resides, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed a serious criminal offense against the general safety of people and property, and he was handed over to the detention facilities for detained persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
Police officers of the Criminal Police Sector continue to work on clarifying and documenting this criminal offense.
