Experts warn: If it wants new investments, Bosnia and Herzegovina must work on its image

Experts will discuss on Monday the impact of Bosnia and Herzegovina's image on economic growth and development in the country, at a conference organized by the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the news agency Patria.

To emerge from the difficult economic situation it finds itself in, Bosnia and Herzegovina needs foreign investments, but analysts assess that these will come when its own image improves in foreign eyes, which primarily refers to simplifying procedures for company registration, reducing taxes, and achieving political stability in the country...

It is quite clear, they warn, that no foreign investor wants to invest in areas that are politically unstable, nor where legal procedures are unclear and complicated.

The conference "The Impact of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Image on the Economic Growth and Development of the Country," which will be held on Monday at the premises of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will also feature the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mladen Ivanić.
