Horrific accident in Dobrinja: Car hits taxi, then ends up on its roof

On Saturday around 18:15 in Sarajevo's Dobrinja neighborhood, in Želimir Vidović Kelija Street, a traffic accident occurred involving two cars, one of which ended up on its roof several dozen meters away after the collision, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As a Patria reporter at the scene learned, the car that ended up on its roof was moving at high speed from the direction of Nedžarići towards Lukavica, and at that speed it hit the rear of a taxi vehicle moving in the adjacent lane, after which the driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned.

The driver of the overturned car remained uninjured, while the taxi driver was transported by ambulance and provided with medical assistance.

The reckless driver of the overturned car, who caused the accident, swore at members of the MUP KS and was visibly intoxicated.

Witnesses claim that the collision and overturning of the car were horrific and that it was only by sheer luck that there were no casualties.
