(Patria) - For four days now, the official website of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH has been inaccessible following a hacker attack. Access to emails is also blocked for both deputies and employees of the professional services.
The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the Intelligence Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSA) are working on this case.
Meanwhile, SIPA was also targeted by hacker attacks, but the attack was repelled.
We remind you that at the beginning of this month, the Intelligence Security Agency of BiH called on institutions and individuals to protect their information and communication systems.
"Given that a large number of cyber incidents motivated by the achievement of various illegal goals have been registered recently in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, the Intelligence Security Agency of BiH calls on all institutions and the private sector to conduct a security assessment of information and communication systems and to take the necessary preventive protection measures and procedures," OSA stated.
We remind you that neighboring Montenegro has also been targeted by hacker attacks since August 22. These are attacks on the official website of the country's government.
Online security is generally a very important issue, and it is even more important in the context of the upcoming General Elections in BiH.
