Foreigners won't provide funds for economic recovery if Lijanović, Džaferović, and Jakić will manage them!

The Government of the Federation of BiH will not be able to receive a single mark from foreign financial organizations for economic recovery after the catastrophic floods if individuals from state structures suspected of crime and corruption are involved in the implementation of these projects, the BiH news agency Patria (NAP) has confirmed from multiple sources.

Namely, according to initial estimates, tens of thousands of jobs have been lost in the Federation of BiH due to the floods, and the most funds will be needed to help companies that have been destroyed or severely damaged. Nikšić has already announced that the Government is considering options to help these companies.

However, the key mechanisms that should be available to the Government of the FBiH, and through which companies can be helped, are under the control of Jerko Ivanković Lijanović or are outside the control of Nermin Nikšić's government!

Lijanović, as the Minister of Agriculture, has full control over the allocation of incentives, but numerous investigations are being conducted against him due to serious malversations and crime. At the same time, Lijanović has also taken control of the "Odraz" Development Foundation, which has so far implemented funds provided by the World Bank for entrepreneurs through favorable loans. Funds were blocked once before due to Lijanović's director of Odraz, Vinko Jakić.

A similar situation exists with the Development Bank of FBiH and its director Ramiz Džaferović, who has long lost the support of the FBiH Government. The procedure for appointing a new Supervisory Board has been initiated, after which a new management will be appointed, but this is a process that takes time and it is unknown when it will be completed.

However, precisely because foreign financiers refused to cooperate with the Development Bank of FBiH, the Government was previously forced to establish the "Odraz" foundation and thus access funds. But since Lijanović took over the foundation, things have gotten even worse.

In fact, Nikšić's government finds itself in a situation where, when international aid for economic recovery arrives, it has no partners in the institutions for its transparent implementation, due to serious concerns about misuse. We unofficially learn that Nikšić is considering the option of channeling funds to help destroyed companies and workers who are losing their jobs through employment agencies, NAP learns.
