SARAJEVO, (Patria) - NATO does not plan to deploy combat troops to Ukraine in case of a Russian invasion, said Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg today.
"We do not have a plan to deploy NATO combat troops to Ukraine, our focus is on providing support," Stoltenberg told the BBC.
He said there is a difference between being a NATO member and being a strong and highly valued partner, as Ukraine is.
"There is no doubt about that," Stoltenberg added.
