Stolac: Journalist Nermin Bise to be questioned by police for "destruction of election document"

The editor-in-chief of the portal 24sata.info, Nermin Bise, was handed a summons by a police officer at his home last night to be questioned as a suspect for the criminal offense of destruction of an election document, writes the Patria News Agency. 

- Unlike previous threats and pressures and open attacks on me, even in front of the Stolac Municipality building, and receiving serious threats and attempts at physical assault, this time, instead of protecting me, the Stolac police are sending me a summons to be questioned as a suspect for, as they stated, destruction of an election document. The only contact I had with election documents was on October 2nd when I performed my civic duty and voted at my polling station, says Bise. 

Bise will be questioned today at the Stolac Police Station. 

The election process in Stolac was interrupted on Sunday around 2 PM. The Initiative for Stolac reminds that irregularities and the arbitrariness of the president of the Election Commission (OIK) Ivan Perić began from the opening of polling stations at 7 AM. On the same day, the leaders of the Initiative, Salmir Kaplan and Demir Mahmutćehajić, voluntarily went to the police and gave statements.
