Stojnić defeated American Might Mo

Bosnia and Herzegovina's MMA fighter Denis Stojnić continued his winning streak and last night in Zurich at the "European MMA Championship" was better than American Might Mo, reports the BH news agency Patria.

- The first round was even, I threw Mo on the ground, but the slippery floor was a problem for me. In the first round, he hit me in the nose, which cracked then, but he didn't get a penalty point because he did it accidentally. Then he hit me in the genital area, but that wasn't enough for the judges to penalize him, because they were clearly on his side. In the first round, we were tied on points, and in the second round, I had a slight advantage, but he hit me in the head again. Of course, the judges didn't penalize him for that – says Stojnić.

Denis points out that the third round belonged entirely to him.

- In the entire match, Mo only had his three famous hooks, his strongest weapon, but it didn't leave a mark on me, which surprised him immensely. Of course, I didn't owe him. In the third round, I landed a series of hard punches, mostly hooks, but I didn't shake him, although I did break his nose with one right-hand punch. There was a takedown in the third round. In the end, I won more than deservedly by judges' decision with a score of 29:28. I think I should have won much more convincingly – says Stojnić.

He pointed out that his opponent weighed 135 kilograms, which is not in accordance with UFC regulations, where 120 kilograms is the maximum in the heavyweight category.

- In the end, I must say that I am disappointed with the organizers as well, who favored the American in everything. The cage was half the size of ours in Sarajevo and very slippery, which will be seen in the match recording that will be broadcast on Pink BH and Face TV on Wednesday. Also, the match started at 1:20 AM – says Stojnić, who thanked his father Zdravko and brother Dado and his family for their support.

In the end, he added that he loves his Bosnia the most and can't wait to land at Sarajevo Airport today at 6:45 PM, where his friends and fans are preparing a big welcome for him.
