Palmer and Eichhorst Arriving, Parliament First, Then Trip to Neum

(Patria) - European official Angelina Eichhorst and American diplomat Matthew Palmer are arriving in Bosnia and Herzegovina again tomorrow, January 25.

According to unofficial announcements, Eichhorst and Palmer will first meet with the leaderships of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, and a trip to Neum is planned later, where international officials plan to mediate in the negotiations on amendments to the Election Law.

Their planned return to their countries is scheduled for January 30, with the note that there is a possibility of changing the departure date from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pro-Bosnian parties have conditioned the negotiations on parties from Republika Srpska ending the blockade of state authorities and stopping Milorad Dodik's separatist policy.

The SDP has remained steadfast in its principles, while the NIP has announced that it will support negotiations within BiH institutions, so it remains unclear who will travel to Neum.

What is clear, however, is that the pro-Bosnian parties agree, regardless of whether they participate in the negotiations or not, that the reduction of the Houses of Peoples, modeled after the Council of Peoples of RS, must happen, taking into account all the years of blockades that the HDZ causes precisely through the Houses of Peoples.
