STEVANDIĆ'S APPOINTEE Acting Director of RS Civil Protection Milan Novitović Arrested

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Milan Novitović, acting director of the Republican Civil Protection Administration of Republika Srpska, has been arrested in Banja Luka, BHRT has confirmed.

Novitović was arrested on the order of the Republican Public Prosecutor's Office, Special Department for Combating Corruption, Organized and the Most Serious Forms of Economic Crime.

Novitović is charged with abuse of official position.

He was previously summoned for questioning at the Prosecutor's Office, where he was served with an arrest warrant.

Novitović is, incidentally, a candidate of United Srpska for the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this year's elections.
