State Department warns Americans: Flee Ukraine, Russians intensifying attacks

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The US State Department has issued a warning that Russia will intensify attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and government facilities in the coming days.

The security warning issued by the US Embassy in Kyiv states: "The State Department has information that Russia is intensifying efforts to launch attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and government facilities in the coming days."

The warning also calls on US citizens still in Ukraine to leave the country immediately.

"If you hear a loud explosion or if sirens are activated, seek shelter immediately," the State Department announced. "If you are in a home or building, go to the lowest level of the structure with the fewest exterior walls, windows, and openings; close all doors and sit near an interior wall, away from windows or openings," the warning added.
