State Department issues worldwide caution for US citizens to be vigilant

(Patria) - The US State Department has issued a worldwide security alert for all its citizens abroad, citing the possibility of attacks.

"Due to increased tensions in various locations around the world, the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations or violent actions against U.S. citizens and interests, the Department of State advises U.S. citizens overseas to exercise increased caution," the statement reads.

This means that U.S. citizens should remain vigilant at tourist sites and sign up to receive information and alerts.
