(Patria) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke by phone with US President Donald Trump on Saturday, Reuters reported.
The leaders discussed the need to strengthen security in the Arctic, according to a statement from Downing Street 10.
Starmer called this issue an absolute priority for his government, the statement said.
The leaders agreed on the need for progress towards a sustainable ceasefire in the war between Ukraine and Russia, and Starmer reiterated that international partners must continue to support Ukraine in its defense against Putin's "barbaric attacks", the British Prime Minister's office stated.
