Around 7:55 this morning, a fire broke out in an apartment at Bosanska Street number 13/10, where an elderly woman, F.DŽ. (born 1936), was found unresponsive, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The fire was contained by 8:45 by the Sarajevo Fire Brigade, and a doctor from the Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance of the Sarajevo Canton confirmed the woman's death.
The duty cantonal prosecutor has been notified, and an investigation will be conducted during the day once technical and safety conditions are met.
