Stanivuković: Dodik must understand that NATO is not an SNSD municipal board

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - There is a problem with the mentality and psychology of Milorad Dodik in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is trying to rise above the state, said, among other things, Draško Stanivuković, a guest on N1 Television.

Stanivuković, a PDP representative in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, recalls Dodik's frequent statements that he is the "boss who decides" and that he is more important than the "other two members of the Presidency of BiH".

"It is not the first time in history that a man elevates himself above a country, above a nation, above a people, the citizens in that country. That is precisely what Mr. Dodik is doing. That is not good," Stanivuković warns.

He also states that Dodik does not want compromise.

Stanivuković also stated that "Dodik must understand that NATO is not an SNSD municipal board and that you cannot treat NATO or any major power in the world in that way. Anyone who has treated it that way has not ended well. We are not that big and strong, especially not economically".

According to him, if he were in Dodik's place, he would find an answer very easily.

"The path towards NATO can be slowed down, you can move towards something and almost never reach it. You can make certain compromises, cooperation... Serbia is an example of such a compromise policy," concluded Stanivuković.
