British and German heads of diplomacy spoke by phone yesterday about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the BH News Agency Patria (NAP) has learned from reliable sources.
British Foreign Secretary William Hague and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier discussed the current situation in BiH, as well as plans for an international initiative for constitutional and economic reforms in BiH.
It is interesting that BiH was a topic of discussion for these two ministers despite the crisis situation in Ukraine, which was the main reason for the contacts. Hague himself confirmed the discussion about BiH on his Twitter profile, where he wrote that he exchanged views with Steinmeier on Ukraine and BiH.
- It is good to discuss this, Hague stated, who recently visited BiH. Steinmeier stated yesterday that it is urgently necessary to reduce tensions surrounding Ukraine, reports NAP.
The international community, as we reported yesterday, led by the USA and Germany, is preparing a conference on reforms in BiH for March next year.
