What is the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office doing: Investigation into the death of Hava Dovadžija still ongoing!

The investigation into the traffic accident that occurred on April 1st in Nedžarići, in which Hava Dovadžija (1987) was fatally injured, is still ongoing. The driver of the car, Semir Rastoder (25), is at large, and the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office is still undertaking investigative actions, writes the BH news agency Patria (NAP).

- Certain investigative actions are being taken against S.R., suspected of the criminal offense of serious offenses against public traffic safety, all with the aim of making a final prosecutorial decision, about which the public will be informed in a timely manner - states the spokesperson for the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office.

We remind you that at the end of April, the results of the expert examination ordered by the Prosecutor's Office were expected, according to which the final prosecutorial decision in this case was to be made.

According to eyewitness accounts, Rastoder ran a red light at high speed and hit Hava Dovadžija at a pedestrian crossing. Hava is survived by two minor daughters, aged six months and five years, and on April 6th, peaceful protests were organized by about 2,000 citizens due to Rastoder's release, writes Patria.
